Always remove the shipping bar on an ENERVEX Fan.
For some ENERVEX fans, due to a lengthy motor shaft or large impeller, a shipping bar or transit safety device is added to the fan to avoid any damage.
The shipping bar locks the motor shaft in place and must be removed before installation.
A shipping bar left on an ENERVEX Fan after installation could produce an intermittent noise and/or cause motor drag.
Shipping bars are usually found attached to ENERVEX GSV200-450, RSV200-450 and all RSHT fans.
